The benefit of this service, is that your gift stays with us until delivery. Should any delivery issues occur, we make every effort to resolve the issue and complete delivery on the same day when possible.
Yes, we are a Brisbane based business but we are pleased to offer a nationwide coverage. Please be aware that delivery outside of the Brisbane metro area will be subject to the discretion of the courier company regarding arrival times and will be out of Gift Baskets By Design’s hands once it has left our warehouse.
Our delivery service is Monday – Friday only. On special event weekends such as Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and in the lead up to Christmas we open up special Saturday deliveries. These dates will be advised closer to the Christmas period and posted on our website.
Yes, During the online order process you will be prompted to select your preferred delivery date. It is a good idea to consider how much time is required for delivery, this will be determined by your delivery location.

When an order is delivered to a recipient, the only item that is attached to the package is a greeting card & envelope addressed to the recipient. We do not include any sender’s details, so please remember to include your name in the card message if you would like the recipient to know who it is from. Under no circumstances do we send an invoice to recipients.
If you would rather the identity of the sender remain anonymous you can omit a sender’s name from the gift card message. However, recipients do reserve the right to know the identity of who sends them a gift, and often call us to inquire about this, at which point this information may be revealed to them.
When placing an order, we ask that all customers provide us with a phone number (mobile preferred) for the recipient. The purpose of this to assist with the successful delivery of your gift when problems occur, such as not home at time of delivery etc. As an experienced gift basket company, we understand that most gifts are intended to be surprises, so please be assured that we will only phone the recipient if absolutely necessary.
A. Yes, all customers have the option to provide their own free personal greeting card message. Simply follow the prompts when ordering online. While greeting card messages aren't mandatory, we encourage customers to write a message so the recipient knows who the gift is from.
If you realize you've forgotten to write a greeting card message, don't worry! Simply e-mail us the message you'd like to include (you can reply directly to your order confirmation), and we'll do our best to update it for you.
We offer complimentary gift cards that go with all of our hampers. You can customise the message that is written in the cards with a very large character limit.

Direct Deposit is only available for customers with an Australian Bank Account.
Customers choosing this option must reply to their order confirmation email with a screenshot of their successful transfer.
Gifts will not be shipped until bank deposit payment has been cleared.

A. It's easy to ship to multiple addresses in the Cart. Simply add each gift as single items to the Cart. After selecting all of your gifts, you then go to the Cart where you will be able to click on the “Ship to Multiple Addresses” button at the top of the Cart page, and a "Set Delivery Address" button will appear next to each gift.
If you would like more than one gift to go to each address, after setting each shipping address you will be prompted with a tick-box next to each gift to tick which gifts are going to that address.
If you want to send the same gift hamper to multiple people, then please add each gift as single items to the Cart, so that you will be able to select a different shipping address against each item.
If you have a large number of gifts and addresses, you may find it easier to download the Multi-order Spreadsheet and complete and email to us, then one of our friendly staff will contact you to confirm your order details.
Every effort is made to provide products as listed and illustrated. However, in the event of supply difficulties, we may be forced to substitute an item. In this case we will replace the product with a close alternative of similar or greater value. We will forward you a photo of your gift to your mobile number so you have a record of your gift basket.
Providing the hamper is safe to be left at the address, our couriers will leave the hamper in a spot where it won’t be damaged or stolen. If it is considered unsafe to leave at the address. If we are unable to make contact with the recipient then the gift will returned to our couriers’ depot and your delivery will be attempted again, usually the following day. If the parcel remains undeliverable the courier will make contact with the sender or receiver to organise a resolution.
For all order placed through our website you will receive an email with your tracking once your order has been dispatched. For bulk orders which you have dealt with our sales team directly on simply contact us and we can provide you your tracking number.
At Gift Baskets By Design we specialise in bulk orders of hampers, especially at Christmas time. Offering delivery Australia wide, there is no order too big or too small. We offer the ability to send your Christmas hampers to a single address, or multiple addresses all around Australia.
As we do not manufacture our products in house, we cannot 100% guarantee an item will not contain traces of gluten. However, all of the items in our hampers are individually packaged with all ingredient information required.
